Alhamdulillaah, it is heartening to see the significant growth in the number of Islaamic schools in Chennai and their benefits to the Muslim Ummah. While this work is highly rewarding the path is not without any challenges. And one of such high impacting challenge is the unavailability of competent, qualified and Professional Islaamic studies teachers.

As brothers in Islaam, we take it as a moral responsibility to help/support Islaamic schools in the best possible way addressing this key challenge. In this regard, Illume Academy designed a unique 10-days intensive course called "i-Teacher" as a part of IlLuMe Teachers 2.0 intiative. This course will be presented by IlLuMe Academy in association with Preston International College between 5^th and 14^th June 2010 that will InshaAllah create a resource pool of competent Islaamic Studies teachers, ready for recruitment & deployment by Islaamic schools.
